Copper coil and constant bleeding

Hi all

firstly, I have spoken to my GP surgery and requested a follow up appointment but the 2 doctors who fit coils are both currently on leave.

i had the copper coil fitted on 3rd April.
that was the last day of my Rigevidon pill packet so i started my breakthrough bleed on Saturday 5th. This “period” was heavier and longer, which I expected.

as advised, I have continued my pill until my coil fit check.

however, I have had constant, on/off sporadic bleeding since having the coil fitted.
some days it’s heavy like a period, others it’s like really thick jelly discharge (sorry)
theres been few days without bleeding.

has anyone else experienced this? Did it settle?

I had 4 months straight every single day non stop bleeding after mine fitting. They were reluctant to remove before the 6 month mark but finally relented. The week before my removal appointment it just suddenly stopped. Periods are now regular but very heavy. It will stop!
