The last few days I keep getting a shooting pain lasts a few seconds in the right side only (pelvic area?) My period ended on Friday so unsure if this is ovulation. Prior to my period I notice I get really bad hip pain stiffness. i think I get it sometimes when not connected too but definitely worsens at this point
Gp recently done full bloods and the only thing that came back was my iron levels so to take folic for next 4 months.
I was diagnosed with dyspareunia at 19 and then diagnosed with embedded uti in my 20s. My periods have always been heavy and painful. Gynaecology years ago when I had the dysprareunia diagnosis and dryness issue just gave a prescription and some tablets for the painful periods, i think they dismissed endo and sent on way.
the only other thing lately is i’m more gassy at night! Do have IBS.
the pain in my right side seems to worsen at night time (not necessary when i’m sleeping just at night which seems odd) its not as bad during day. I feel I also had this a few months ago and at the time my gp said could maybe be a cyst, with the pain I got a private ultrasound and they’ve said no pelvic inflammatory or any other issues so makes me think if not cyst can it still be ovulation or endo or would this have picked up on the ultrasound scan of pelvic
Could a UTI also present like this or unlikely no since its just in right side and not affecting peeing?
could bv also cause this right side shooting pain? As not 100 on BV as slight smell but not strong! If it persists will be back at GP but I guess just seeing if its common
