Anastrazole and bone density

I have been taking anastrazole for around two years. My first DEXA scan showed osteopenia, and my most recent has shown a further 5% bone density loss,
and the results show that adjuvant bone therapy is now recommended. I have had the referral letter back from the hospital and it says the waiting time to see the rheumatologist is 50 weeks. This is making me feel a little anxious as my GP said that I would probably need to start on some form of treatment asap.
How long after having bone density results did anyone wait to start some form of treatment?
