Early period (CD-18) ??

Last period was on 28th March, which means I'm currently on cycle day 18.

I went to the toilet thinking it must be discharge as ovulation is approaching, but to my suprise theres dark red/brown blood I am so confused??

The only thing different is that I've had a horrible cold/flu last week. Even then I dont understand how that can make me bleed as there wouldnt have been enough time to ovulate and for luteal phase

Any thoughts?

Wow this is exactly me, right down to the dates and the horrible cold/flu!

Can I ask how old you are? Am late 40s so am assuming peri is fully kicking in.

Am usually totally clockwork at 28 days so this had really thrown me

I'm 35 yrs old, with cycles varying 30-35days due to PCOS

Ob no, I'm really hoping it's not pre meno for me, I havent even managed to fall pregnant yet 😟

just spoke to my GP and she said when your immune system is down it can send your cycle haywire. She also told me to take a pregnancy test 😳

So I don’t think you need to worry either
