Pessary change problems

I’m wondering if any of you are having the same problems as me regarding getting their vaginal pessary changed. My local NHS health centre used to offer this service, however, this has now been withdrawn and there doesn’t seem to be any alternative. Local community gynae care also are refusing to change them. I’ve now had the same pessary for nearly a year. Any ideas anyone?

I am shocked, that's terrible. I don't have one but if I did and it needed changing I would ring 111.

The problem seems to be that the GPs don’t receive funding to do this anymore but it hasn’t been picked up by the community gynae team as they are also refusing to do pessary changes. I’m thinking of seeing if I can get it done privately but don’t know where to start with that avenue.
