Raised CA125 and mass on ovary

Has anyone had this my mums ca125 was 57 so higher than we like but not massive but an ultrasound showed a mass on ovary we are waiting on gynae appt and ct scan

Hi OP just to let you know endometriosis can cause high CA125 along with some other inflammatory diseases. It’s scary but not always cancer. What’s the pathway she is on, scans, next steps?

She’s an appt with gynae and then and mri booked 2 days later

Yes I had this all last summer similar CA125 - ended up having a full hysterectomy after more scans but the mass was borderline so no cancer
