Hi my baby is a few months and I Been on the pill and have started bleeding (spotting) for weeks and weeks. I’ve been using panty liners day and night and not realised they are scented. Anyway over the last few days after I shaved around the area and used some body wash (I know, stupid) and since I’ve had pain at the top of my clitoris and it’s tender to touch and slightly swollen. I’m still bleeding too.
it’s hurts to wear panty liners and I’ve switched to non scented.
I’ve tried sudocream hasn’t helped. I wonder what it sounds like ? Would canestan help ? Thanks

Vaseline works really well, sometimes panty liners irritate that area.

Yes maybe thanks I just think for the bleeding I need some sort of protection.

If the sudocreme hasn’t worked then I would be inclined to try the Canestan - I’m wincing for you! 😣

E45 cream works well

Have you ever had a cold sore op? I had the same symptoms as you when pregnant with my first and went to a gum clinic after a panicked episode at ooh gp. Tested and diagnosed with oddly presenting cold sore type (not genital herpes type) herpes virus. Apparently the reduced immune system that comes with pregnancy can make that happen. The nurse was lovely and gave me some aciclovir and the numbing gel they use for iud insertions. It was instant relief - would highly recommend!
