Contraceptive implant

Has anyone recently had the IUD implant? The nurse told me they have changed where it's inserted and I'm still sore when I move my arm after 3 weeks. Like it's catching on something. It's the third time I've had this and never had any bother before. Just wondering if it's because it's now in a different place? Or if I should go back to get it checked. TIA x

Go back and get it checked. It shouldn't be sore after this long.

I’d get it checked if it feels like it’s catching sometimes if can be pressing on a nerve. It’s a nexplanon implant btw an IUD is something different (copper coil that goes in the womb).
