Period pants for excess groin sweat!

I have a summer wedding to go to and I’m paranoid about groin sweat.
would the lightest type of period pants go the trick ?!

I’d wear chub rub shorts.

Period pants make ne sweat more!

They'd make it worse, surely?

I thought they’d absorb any and stop any smell
