Mirena - heavier bleed

Hi. I’ve had the mirena since the beginning of December. I’ve had spotting most days since then but today I’m having a heavy bleed and having to change pads. I’m 3 months into the mirena. Is this normal? Any advice would be welcome!

Mine took around 6 months to settle down, I had some heavy bleeding the first few months but then no periods until I had it removed - absolute bliss! However, ask your gynae, they can do a scan, check its position etc. Better to be safe!
