Ruining diet (badly) in long build up to period

I find that I can stick to a good diet for approximately two weeks before I feel bloody awful (first at ovulation and then before period.) my cycles are long so my craving for carbs and biscuit binges lasts for longer than a week. And now I feel rubbish for ruining yet again what started out well. Wondering how anybody else manages this feeling and how you stop yourself eating badly? If you can, please tell me the secret!

Updating again as I’ve had another bad day and I’m sure I’ll have put on half a stone. Period still not here, cycle day 41
