After years of suffering, and waiting for a referral I finally received my endometriosis diagnosis this week. Ive got 5 incisions and now off work for the next 2 weeks.

My surgeon said she has managed to take some off which is fantastic and I am very greatful but I suppose I am now left wondering... what now?

I feel happy to know why I am in so much pain but also there is some grief in knowing this is a progressive and pretty much incurable disease.

How did you find your symptoms were after you had the laparoscopy and had some (if not all) removed? I'm usually bedbound for the first 4 days of my period then I am able to manage better so I am really hoping that these improve for me during my cycles.

We are TTC so birth control is not an option unless the pain becomes even more severe after this surgery - praying it doesn't 🙏
