IVF number of cycles and experiences

Hello - I’m looking for information on two things. Firstly, does anyone know what the NHS allowance is for IVF cycles for people living in Wigan / greater Manchester - if anyone has had IVF or going through it and knows the answer I’d love to hear it as I can’t seem to find it anywhere.

Secondly, is anyone currently undergoing investigations with St Mary’s hospital Manchester? I had my baseline fertility tests in September and was told it would be five months before a consultation, which we accepted. However, my husband recently called to ask where things were up to and we were told that due to staff leaving it would now likely be September or October. I don’t think we would have found this out had we not asked. I understand the NHs is in demand but it seems so cruel to perform fertility tests and then not even follow up with a guide of what to expect next for what may be more than a year after the initial assessment,

any experience from anyone out there?

Hey, if you’re under 39 I think Wigan offer 2 cycles!
the wait time is awful, I was referred Jan 2024, had my baselines May 24, had consultation for results in March 25. I’ve recently had a failed fresh transfer and now have to wait another 3months until I can discuss next steps. The wait times are awful. You can have your care transferred to private clinic funded by nhs - I think it’s call CREATE fertility?
