Anyone else had high BP after weaning?

I'm 12 days after giving my last breastfeed to my 15mo. I think it is since this time that I have generally felt a bit rubbish (to be expected) but I've just done my BP and it's 152/84. Now I've had high BP before and had gestational hypertension but it's been settled for months now.

I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this and if it might pass after a couple more weeks? I will book in with GP soon as I can as I know BP shouldn't be ignored and the risks associated. Just hoping it might be a temp thing rather than back on the meds!

Your diastolic is normal and systolic varies quite a bit - take it for a month and find the averages. High BP won’t be making you feel rubbish unless it’s so high you’re having a crisis - which it’s nowhere near at that reading
