Hysteroscopy Biopsy

I had a hysteroscopy in early December and was told I had polyps that needed to be removed. A biopsy was taken at the same time and I had the results 3 weeks later that the sample was benign,

I had another hysteroscopy in January to have the polyps removed but the consultant said that there were no polyps and that sometimes they go away by themselves. During the procedure they found blood, although I've not had a period for 18 months. They used the saline solution to wash the blood away. A biopsy was taken and I was told if everything was fine I would be discharged from the clinic, Three days later I was notified that an appointment was booked for 31st March. I've not had the biopsy results.

Feeling a little worried and have asked a close friend to come with me. Would they really wait so long to give me bad news? Or should I think 'no news is good news'.

They wouldn’t wait that long if it was bad news.
Phone the secretary and say you haven’t had a results letter, maybe it got lost?

I've called and was told the appointment was to discuss the results and if all was fine then I would be discharged from the clinic.
