I fell fatigued ALL the time, have zero sex drive and just want to feel normal Sad

had blood tests to check that it was not something else and all came back fine

I will be asking to start HRT along side testosterone when I next talk to GP, I am 44

pls share with me how testosterone has helped.

There’s enough I can read about HRT but I wanna hear about testosterone in particular as I can’t see as many personal stories to help me stop doubting myself.
I struggle with advocating for myself specially when it comes to health

Guidance is only to start testosterone when your oestrogen is optimised - and currently many GPs can’t or won’t prescribe testosterone as in many areas prescribing restrictions mean it can only be initiated in specialist clinics or by private providers.

However if and when you do get it, it can be incredibly beneficial for libido. It can take some months though to notice a difference. Some women have not much benefit and more side effects so stop it. Others find it helps enormously with libido and energy.

Were your thyroid levels checked properly?. What you are describing could well be a symptom of problems with the thyroid gland.

@Creamcheesedreams
I struggled the same sbd went to a private dr for menopause.
she told me to get a testosterone blood check then she’ll see about what to prescribe.
my results were so low she said that’s considered none at all. !
so I opted for Androfeme which is only available uk privately though.
it is a female sensitive testosterone from Australia.
If you go through usual Gp you’ll only be offered the one designed for males if at all.
and usually only if you say crap libido is affecting your marriage 🤨
I’ve been taking androfeme now for 4 months and feel MUCH better!
more focused, more assertive less anxiety, more motivated and libido has improved- a bit. :)
personally I recommend it.
