Can anyone tell me if a prolactin reading of 200 is high? I stopped breastfeeding a year ago and have issues with my cycle since.

It’s a normal result (anything between 80-250ish is normal). I have a prolactinoma, had it for 20 years now. When I was diagnosed my levels were 4000 plus. Thankfully it was too small to show on an MRI so it’s just been managed with medication (cabergoline) since. My levels are now around 900 and they don’t worry about it anymore, I’m now menopausal (went into early menopause aged 37 due to autoimmune issues) and so it doesn’t matter if I have periods etc or not. When I wanted to conceive both my dc they just increased the medication until my periods became more regular. If you’re concerned about pituitary issues the Pituitary Foundation is very good and they have a helpline. You can google them.
