So I started depo in September, had my latest jab today. Over the last, let’s say 6 weeks-ish, I’ve had some bleeding after sex and some intermittent bleeding not as a result of sex. The blood is usually dark/brown as opposed to pink or red. I’ve also noticed that occasionally I do have discharge with a slight odour but not always, and nothing in particular seems to trigger this.
I mentioned this today and have been sent home with swabs. No new sexual partner for over 2 years, no bleeding after sex before the depo. Anyone have any experience or advice? Of course I’ll be doing the swabs and sending them off, just looking for any personal experience!
