Period late, not pregnant, late 30's perimenopause?

Just that really. A bit of background, I've been on contraception since 16, coming off to have a baby and back on in between children, I have three.
Dh had a vasectomy 2 years ago, all follow ups done and clear. I had my coil removed in October.
Previously, cycles would last 24 days which is what happened when coil was removed. Until this month! Day 35 now, pms is in full swing since day 22 but no bleeding.
Pregnancy test is negative, as expected.
I'm going out of my mind! Gp said to ride it out! Need to miss three before they investigate. (I didn't book an appointment, I work with a gp who is good with women's health)

Any ideas? Or suggestions of how to lessen pms? I take cbd oil at bedtime already, in case it is suggested!
Thanks.

When I had my mirena coil put in I found it lessened my rages. Plus it’s the progesterone part of HRT.
Have you any symptoms of PCOS that could be showing now you’re off the pill?

I have similar - early 40s, DH had a vasectomy years ago, so definitely not pregnant, and my periods have started going a bit haywire. I had a few months of 20 days between periods, then 35, and just had 60 days! GP did blood tests in Dec which didn’t give any signs of menopause but she said it can change very quickly. Not considered menopause until you haven’t had a period for 1 year apparently… I also have hypothyroidism which I think isn’t helping

Blood tests won’t help with diagnosing this. Did the GP mention the 10plus years of peri before menopause, that you might want HRT for ?

Mine gets delayed when I’m very stressed. It can also happen if you are undernourished.

Yes - but I don’t really have any other symptoms yet, so it’s not really bothering me. Many of the symptoms overlap with hypothyroid symptoms, so it’s just a bit annoying.
In any case, I live outside the UK where the healthcare services are generally much easier to access than in the UK, so I have no concerns about getting the right treatment when I need it…

Thanks for the replies. I have been stressed, work changes but I wouldn't say its extreme. I have a good diet, I exercise but not over the top. I'm not skinny, size 12.
I did have some ovarian cysts with the marina but that seems to have stopped now. Wasn't psos, just a few cysts.

A woman's body can be so unpredictable! I'm not great at dealing with the unknown, I like to be in control so as you can imagine, I'm driving myself (and dh) mad!
