Breast clinic - boob issues

Hi everyone
about 6 weeks ago I had neck/shoulder pain which led me to have a feel about my boobs.
i found a lumpy area and also my nipple is partially inverted (which it has been for years)

I am 30 years old and went to my GP who agreed lumpy patch but said my nipples look the same. My inverted nipple only inverts sometimes and comes out when cold/ touched so as soon as I took my bra off it came out and looked normal.
she told me to come back after 2 weeks, which I did and lumps where still there so she referred me to breast clinic.

went to breast clinic this week, consultant did a physical exam and marked the area of concern lumps but thought it was glandular, then had an ultrasound over this which came back normal.

my worry is that the ultrasound didn’t look at my nipple and I’m worried something has been missed here? Would an ultrasound have picked this up? Would the consultant have picked something up?

I still can’t settle :(

Go back to GP with your concerns

Any reason they didn't do a mamagram.

Hi - yes I’m only 30 so mammograms aren’t used in under 40s because apparently the breast tissue is too dense!
