Endometriosis/heavy bleeding hell

I have no quality of life any more.

I have been waiting since the middle of last year for an urgent hysterectomy due to heavy painful bleeding, endometriosis and a number of failed treatments.
My bowel and bladder are also affected. I’ve had this for almost 30 years.

I have lost the will with health professionals. I get painkillers thrown at me and I’m expected to carry on.

2 weeks of the month are agony, the other 2 weeks I feel exhausted.
I’ve tried all the medications. Nothing works well enough for me to live a normaI life.
I have no option to pay privately unfortunately.

I can’t live like this any more. I don’t know where to turn now.

Could you try getting in touch with Endometriosis UK's helpline? They say that they can help with 'People struggling to advocate for themselves with health care professionals.' I don't know what this help will look like but it may be a step forward to getting the ball moving faster than it it, especially because it's support from 'experienced gynaecology nurses'. Have they given you an idea of timescale and are you under a specialist endo centre?
i ended up writing to PALS as my appointments kept getting cancelled, they bumped me up the list and moved me to another consultant. 18 months in now and my op is within the next 6 months

They had originally told me it would be before Christmas, then it was January. And now they are saying the end of the year!
Ive had a pre op done and been through all the consent forms with my consultant.
I had another surgery last year which ended with a complication that has made this so much worse for me.

The wait lists are ridiculous. I’m using be you period patches, a tens machine and morphine which all help slightly
