Hi

I’ve been asked to repeat my water sample at the doctors. I have been having urgency to go, tenderness in my pelvic/bladder area and some discomfort after going. The doctor dipped it and said raised luecs and protein but it was sent to the hospital.
I’ve just had a text to repeat my sample, can anyone tell me why or what it means?
I’ve done some googling and feel it’s contaminated, but there are significant raises white blood cells. Does that indicate infection or not?

Maybe they're checking the infection has gone now. Were you treated?

White blood cells in your urine indicate inflammation, which can certainly indicate infection. You should have no to very low numbers of white blood cells in your urine.

I had repeated UTIs almost my whole life, but they were usually subclinical, meaning there were enough bacteria for symptoms, but not enough to qualify as an infection. Some women have a urinary tract that is hypersensitive to bacteria and reacts strongly to subclinical levels, so it's difficult to get medication because the medical establishment doesn't take that into account. So I learned how to treat them with herbal medicine, plus I use other techniques to stay as bacteria free as possible.
Are you somebody who gets UTI symptoms frequently? If so, you may have a hypersensitive urinary tract.

The epithelial cell sample is too high. It means it wasn’t a clean catch sample. You need to start the flow, catch the urine and then finish otherwise cells from outside the body contaminate the sample.
