Do you have some support?
I got pregnant on the mirena coil after four years.
Hope you're okay OP

something I genuinely didn't know is that the mirena coil generally affects implantation by making the womb a hostile environment. the hormone element also lessens likelyhood of conception but it can still happen, just that it would then not embed.
I realised that, in addition to the 8/9 week one which then lost, I had felt pregnancy symptoms several times whilst on the coil (I conceive very easily!) so it's possible that a very very early pregnancy could occur and then not stick.

A pregnancy test will often show positive if you leave it for longer than the recommended time scale before reading it.

Any test with a kite mark on it will be good enough quality.

If you have a positive pregnancy test with a coil in you need to be reviewed at an Early Pregnancy Unit urgently - there is a risk of ectopic pregnancy and the coil needs to be removed.

It doesn't make the womb a "hostile environment" as such (you may be thinking more about the copper coil which has a toxic effect on sperm). The Mirena works mainly by thickening up the cervical mucous which makes it almost impossible for sperm to penetrate and thins the endometrium so implantation can't occur.
