incontience

I am a 32F and have no children and today for the first time in my life I completely wet myself. I had just arrived home from work and went to go to the toilet; I didn't feel I needed to go but I had an online meeting and wanted to go before then so I didn't need to go during. I walked into the bathroom and peed everywhere. Not a little leak but a full on accident, I was so stunned I couldn't move. It was like my brain had said to let go before I had reached the toilet or even removed my pants. This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me and I just wondered if something like this had ever happened to anyone else? I know incontience can be an issue in pregnancy/after but I have never been pregnant. This also wasn't an "absolutely bursting and didn't make it in time situation". Before I knew what was happening, I completely wet myself. Is this worth going to the GP about? I feel so ashamed for not having an excuse like ongoing pelvic floor issues, and so worried it might happen again, although it was completely out of the blue. I've never even had little leaks before. What do I do!

Firstly, GP as it is probably a UTI.

Then if it happens again, come back and tell us.

Could be a uti or do you have a cold, I find they mean I have less "capacity"

No need to see a gp unless it's an ongoing issue, most utis clear up by themselves

See if it happens again. Sounds like a UTI

I definitely find I have non painful UTI's where my only real symptom is the inability to hold a pee.
I will just wet myself- I'm 45 and I hate it.

I've paid lots of money to one of those chairs that supposedly excessive your metals, tried the electro stimuli and the Perifit.

The only thing that seems to work is the Perifit but I have to do it religiously.

I've just had flu and have a nasty cough and I'm back to square one
