Walking uncomfortable - vaginal atrophy and / or hysterectomy

Hi all

I had a hysterectomy August just gone. Was a pretty bad recovery with UTI and vaginal infection (both now cleared). Before I had the hysterectomy I was given the Mirena for 6 months as part of the treatment (endometrial cancer prevention).

I believe the Mirena and the fact that I had to stop vaginal estrogen had left me with vaginal atrophy and discomfort. I'm treating this with Intrarosa but I am still finding it really uncomfortable to walk. Each step comes with a little bit of discomfort and it's horrible.

Did anyone else experience this related to vaginal atrophy? I ask as I guess it is also possible that it is related to the hysterectomy. It's all very hard to pick apart. Has anyone had a hysterectomy and had pain on walking?

Thanks for reading,!

Estriol cream helps with atrophy. Go back to your GP

Hi @justasking111 . Thanks for your comment. I did try estriol cream but I found it irritating. I have an alternative, Intrarosa which is also hormonal and estrogen generating. Still waiting for it to work and still uncomfortable hence my question.
