Hi all

I know that any breast changes should be reported to the GP, but before I do that I guess I am just looking for any other similar experiences.
I have a tender area on my left breast when pressed. It’s on the side but more towards the underneath of my boob. It in tender when leant on or pressed firmly. Sometimes when I bend down I can feel an uncomfortableness.

I did notice this was worse before my period and really seemed to (almost) fade afterwards but I’m currently ovulating and I can feel it being tender again.

i don’t suffer with overly tender breasts but I guess since having my daughter 3 years ago I notice them more if she leans on them etc!

Anyone had anything similar? I have HA and truthfully am putting off going to the doctors as it feels minor and I don’t want to over react but am also terrified as I know they’ll could refer me. Please be kind, I’m not looking for assurance just anyone that has something similar who can offer advice 😥

At some point I started with breast pain, and started taking a good quality evening primrose oil to stop it.

I had breast pain and was referred to the breast clinic who checked me over (and found a cyst I had not felt!) They said breast pain common in perimenopause (I am 40) and suggested evening primrose oil which has helped. Likely to be fine but I would always get checked.
