Anyone experienced odd periods?

My period was slightly late this month and not as heavy as I would have normally expected. I did still have a “full” period but on CD2 I would normally need to change every two hours but I only needed to change every 4-5 hours, if that.

Also, come the end it was a bit stop/start so I thought I’d finished a bit earlier than I expected, then suddenly early morning it stared again. That happened twice.

Now CD7, after a clear day of nothing, I’ve had blood tinged discharge 🤷🏻‍♀️

I am actively trying to conceive but have been diagnosed with unexplained secondary infertility. I don’t believe I’m pregnant as I tested the day my period arrived but I will test again later to be 100%.

I’m not sure if I should get checked out. I doubt my doctors could do much but our gynaecologists (who also deal with fertility issues) seem to have all but written me off and told me to try IVF 🤦🏼‍♀️

I had similar with stop/start periods, followed by days and days of light spotting and I have a uterine polyp which I'm waiting to have removed. I'm assuming you've had scans already though if you're having fertility treatment so that would rule it out. Hormones can cause the lining to come away unevenly too.

Hey 👋🏻 yes, had all the scans and all the tests and there’s nothing glaringly obvious frustratingly.

It’s hard because obviously something different is happening in the last 2 cycles but the gynaecologists just don’t seem interested in the slightest. I called the secretary last month when I had concerns and I never got a call back…
