Just feeling so worried about my DM.
Her periods stopped a couple of years ago but last week she had something that resembled a very heavy period. And before that very painful cramps for about three weeks and was saying for the first time in decades her old c-section scar was hurting.
This week she has a very painful UTI with lots of blood in urine. She was supposed to have a biopsy taken from her uterus today (inserted vaginally) but it was so painful that they'll do one under general anaesthetic next week. They've told her her uterus lining has thickened by 10mm and don't know why. About 5 years ago she had her thyroid removed due to thyroid cancer. She has since been told she has the all clear but I'm now worried something sinister is at play again.
Has anyone had any period like symptoms after menopause? I'm praying the UTI and they weird period just coincidentally happened at the same time.
