Long haul flight: mild stress incontinence

I cope with this at home. Age: 60s, 3 vaginal births, slightly wet pants for years if I cough or sneeze. I've had a stinky cold this past week and have changed my knickers 3 times a day due to the leaks with the sneezing. It makes me wonder what I will do on a long haul flight, shortly due, I haven't been on in 30 years. Advice? Lots of spare pants? Panty llners or more absorbent? The joy of pelvic floors.

Get pee pads, they will work well and keep you fresh and dry.

Yes get some Tena or similar they do not have to be like mattress' you can get slim ones too, personally cold or no cold I would pack some anyway then you can enjoy your holiday

Look at Modibodi website. Sold initially as period pants but also for pee and work brilliantly- not cheap but last really well as long as you wash them in cold water/ cool water. I use a 30C 20min wash. Then take quite a while to dry. Different absorbencies are available. I find the style with lace around the waistband the most comfortable

If it happens when you cough or sneeze don't you already use a pantry liner? I'd be worried about the smell if I didn't 😬 Tena long liners are very thin and absorbent

I use the bladder weekness pads from aldi or lidl - very effective and I find the slight bulk reassuring yet invisible. I had a free packet of Always incontinence pads and they were brilliant and far thinner, but 3-4 times the price.

I have used the full pants before when I had a nasty cold and was leaking a lot, but find them really sweaty.
