Itchy breast - should I be concerned?

For the past few weeks I’ve had an area about the size of a 2p next to my nipple that just won’t stop itching. The skin doesn’t look inflamed and it’s not dry, there’s no obvious signs of anything being there at all but it’s driving me crazy and I don’t know whether or not it could be something more sinister…

My mum and her mum both had breast cancer. My mum is in remission now but my gran died from it. I also do have breast implants but can’t see how this could be connected to that.

It probably isn’t connected but given your family history definitely get checked.

Get an emergency appointment with your GP on Monday morning and explain your family history. It may be nothing but you need to be seen for your own ease of mind. I have an itch on my breast that flares up now and again but it's eczema.

I agree, anything unusual needs checking, especially with your family history.

Don't ask us ask a doctor, I wish you well,
