UTI with awful aches

Never had a UTI before until last weekend when I noticed cloudy urine then pain in lower abdomen late Sunday night.
Got treatment early Monday via online GP. 3 day antibiotic.
Not sure if it's working. Was up all last night with aches and pains all over my body, painkillers not helping.
I have another day of the antibiotic to take, should I finish before contacting the GP? Is it normal to have such severe aches that you can't sleep?

I would call the doctors first thing today as agree it doesn't sound like they are working. That sounds really miserable, I've had quite a few UTIs and they can be awful.
I can usually notice antibiotics start to work within first day (def by day 2). There was one time I had a really nasty UTI and the antibiotics didn't work and they gave me some different ones that then worked straight away. I can't remember the exact medical reasons but there are a few different types of antibiotics for UTI and they usually give the most common ones out first and then the other if they don't work.

UTI's can be horrendous.I've had one for almost a week, tried to treat it with additional fluids, cranberry etc but it worsened.I've been prescribed Pivmecilllinam which seems to be working quite quickly but I've had pains and aches through to my toes, temperatures of 39.5 etc.
I do hope you're feeling better now and I know I'll need lots of rest to recover.
