Hi I’m 34 yo and after my 2nd born two years ago I’ve been experiencing a lot of changes in my body like hair loss, then I was diagnosed with HPV high risk and now I found these white patches on my vulva outter skin. Doctor said it was lichen sclerosus ( I have also been diagnosed with that 5 years ago) but the symptoms are just not the same, the patches don’t look the same, I don’t have that flaky skin that would peel off, only the white patches, the skin is smooth and it doesn’t hurt or cause itching or any discomfort, it is just like my skin is loosing melanin. I was prescribed mometasone and told to wait and see if it gets better. Also found a small lump under my skin up near the mons/pubic area, I didn’t know it was there until I started shaving and while holding my skin to try and shave properly I felt pain, and started to press with my finger and felt the small lump. This is really messing with my anxiety that already struggle with, the steroid ointment doesn’t seem to be working :(

Has the GP referred you to a Gynae? That's who you need to see. Could you possibly afford a private appointment? I saw one a few months ago for £200.

No, they put me on steroids ointment, i would’ve thought they would referred me for a biopsy or Gynae. Unfortunately I can’t afford a private appointment

OK well if it is Lichen then steroid cream is the right treatment, but they need to refer you to Gynae anyway. If you don't see any improvement in a couple of weeks you need to go back to the GP - and insist on a referral.
