Vaginal sore? [content warning: image included]

I have a really painful -what looks like a small pus filled spot - on my vagina. I have had 2 which have only just started in the past couple of weeks and keep becoming inflamed and then reducing but the same 2 spots keep getting irritated.

could this be due to something like an ingrown hair or a cut from shaving? The spot that is currently inflamed is so painful and I kept waking up when turning over in bed last night. What medicine would clear them up?

Hot bath or shower and squeeze the pus out.

That's an ingrown hair. You will need antibiotics, I've had one before and it is so painful

I had something similar a few years back, squeeze the shit out of it, ideally into a tissue and not across the room like I did, probably best in the shower.

Apply germolene after, it's antiseptic and numbs the area a bit.

Surely this would cause infection?

I had a horrific one a couple of years ago. Very VERY hot flannel held over it for a couple of mins, pieced with a sharp needle, squeezed then applied TCP on cotton pads every couple of hours.

Wouldn’t squeezing it cause an infection if it’s on your vagina near the opening?

It looks like an ingrowing hair. I'd be very careful about squeezing it in such an intimate area. Probably best to consult a doctor/nurse.

It's not on your vagina, squeeze it with clean hands and bang some savlon or antiseptic on it put some clean knickers on and it will be absolutely fine.

I’d get a needle and sterilise it, def ingrown hair but you need to get the hair out too or it will keep coming back. Get it nice and warm first and then get it out. Shouldn’t become infected if you keep it clean/put some antiseptic on

That's your vulva, not your vag.
