Missed two pills, nearly a week apart

I started my latest pack of the combined pill on Thursday January 16th and I missed one pill (24hrs late, 48 hrs after last pill) on Thursday January 23rd, after seven days of consecutive use. I took two on Friday 24th as instructed.
I then preceded to take my pills as normal.

When I came to take my pill the following Thursday (30th) I noticed that my Wednesday pill was still in the packet, but my Thursday pill was gone. Now, the most rational answer is that I just popped the wrong pill out of the packet and swapped them around, but worse case scenario is that I missed it.

I then had unprotected sex with my partner last night (Sunday 2nd Feb)
Given that the two missed pills were non-consecutive (and both taken no more than 24hrs late) I'm hoping that this wouldn't have triggered ovulation. I've taken EC just in case, but what the likelihood I'll be pregnant?

There seems to be very little advice out there regarding what happens to your protection when you miss two pills, but in different weeks.

Thanks 😊

I'm sure there will be someone along soon with a lot more knowledge than me but here's my take on the situation.

For you to release a mature egg, that egg needs to have been developing within a follicle for 8-12 days. Surely the OCP prevents this growth pattern meaning that even if you were to release an egg, it wouldn't be mature enough for fertilisation.

There's also the additional 'barriers' such as thinning endometrial lining caused by the pill (making it harder for implantation to happen) and the change in cervical mucus making it a less than desirable environment for sperm to survive.

All in all, it seems unlikely that you could be pregnant in my opinion but that's all this is. I'm no medical expert.
