Pelvic MRI what to expect? For possible endometriosis

I'm overseas and booked in for a pelvic MRI on Wednesday for suspected endometriosis. I'm wondering what to expect. When I rang to make the appointment I was not able to understand exactly what preparation was required before the MRI thanks to my lack of French. I am going to visit the clinic on Tuesday just to clarify but wondered if anyone had any experience. From what I could understand it sounded as though I needed to fast and some restrictions on fluids and something about making sure my bowels were empty before hand, quote "flushing the rectum". What a delight, cant bloody wait. I assume she means an enema before hand and I get a kit from the pharmacy? Can't wait to use my French to ask for that. God being a woman sucks sometimes. So if anyone can share any insight on what horror awaits pre and during the MRI that may be helpful. On the other hand maybe it's best not to know.

I have zero recollection of fasting or "flushing" before my pelvic MRI, but this as in the UK. I had to take some meds to slow down the gut - I think just buscopan and something else relatively tame. The main difficultly was that I'm not very good at holding my breath, and there was A LOT of that.
