What fresh hell is this - peri?

I am expecting to start my period any day now and for the last week or so I noticed some small spots, like a faint rash appearing on my hands. Top of the hands roughly up to the wrist only.

Some times it's itchy sometimes not. Sometimes it's more pronounced, sometimes it's not and can only be detected by touch - if I run my hand over my skin it feels bumpy and dry. Not fluid filled and tiny - not patches like hives. I haven't changed any creams or anything like that recently. And no new medication either.

I am currently perimenopausal, some typical symptoms but not lots, so no HRT atm. Is this fresh hell another peri symptom?

Yeah the itchy skin is another symptom I've been told about! Currently 18 months into peri and been comparing notes with other women of a similar age. I had vertigo last week....that's a symptom too! Fun!

Argh it's never ending. But spots too? I guess perhaps the roughness can come from dryness hmm

Not sure about the spots. May be worth getting it looked at.

I wondered whether it could be progesterone intolerance. I am not on HRT but if my hormones are madly out of whack could it be that.. progesterone does affect the skin.
will call GP tomorrow but just looking for ideas to discuss with them. Skin issues are so tricky to diagnose...
