HSV type 1? Advice

So a bit embarrassing. But a bit of background. So when I was 20 (now 30) I slept with the 2nd person I've ever slept with in my life. And I ended up coming out in this awful rash down below and went to the doctors and was told it was a herpes outbreak type 1, it was an awful time of my life. Since I've been 20 I had one more outbreak a year later then for some reason this morning I've woke up and I have a slight outbreak. I'm not sure what's brought it on, I guess I have felt a bit run down and tired recently. I've never usually had any bother with it I even birthed a child and she's now 5.
I guess the reason for this post has this ever happened anyone else? I have slept with 5 people my whole life and there's some people out there that have slept with 100 + people and they've never had a thing in their life 🤣 anyone else experience with this?

Not the same STD but similar scenario. I caught the warts strain of HPV from my second relationship. Didn't realise at the time and only discovered it after a miscarriage left me at a low ebb. It feels very very unfair having been in my thirties before I even had sex and having always used protection!

I've not had any episodes since the initial one but I feel wretched whenever I think about it!

I ironically slept with quite a few people and never caught anything. STI tests all negative.
I then met my current partner ( now husband) and caught HSV 1. Had a pretty painful first outbreak then a couple of milder ones. I never even thought about as an STI until the clinic mentioned STI testing. I don't feel any shame, just one of those things.
