Bleeding part way through cycle

My cycle can usually range from 28 to 32 days but generally very regular, I'm currently on day 17 and this morning started bleeding. The only other time this has happened is when I had implantation bleeding and found out I was pregnant but it's definitely not that this time round.
Has anyone had this before? Is it normal or something I should be consulting my gp over? I'm 32 if that is at all relevant.

How old are you? Are you on any hormonal contraception / have you changed contraception method recently? Have you been ill or stressed?

But generally, it's not normal for you, so in your shoes, I would ask my GP.

Oh, I can read, you said you were 32, so unlikely to be peri.
