Hi all.
I've taken to wearing liners.
I often have a tiny dribble throughout the day not much but smells if i dont wear a liner. 2 kids 18/21 now. Is this normal? Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I have children similar ages to you. I don't leak unless I don't get to the loo quick enough after holding it for ages. It could be your pelvic floor try some exercises.

JumpstartMondays · 03/01/2025 08:27

Not my experience, sorry. Definitely try pelvic floor exercises!

Rocknrollstar · 03/01/2025 08:34

DD (who never gave birth) and I use them all day, every day. Keeps your panties fresh

Spanielsaremad · 03/01/2025 08:38

I'm early 40s (have DC). I've never used one and have never leaked.

NearlyNewHip · 03/01/2025 08:38

I use them. Never had children, but at 47, like the barrier in case of an unexpected sneeze, cough or fit of the giggles x

freidafreida · 03/01/2025 08:40

I've used them since my teens, pre-babies. Being able to freshen up throughout the day, especially in summer is really nice.

As for the dribbling, sounds like a pelvic floor issue.

MustBeGinOclock · 04/01/2025 10:44

There is an app called Squeezy which is good for working on your pelvic floor. Might be useful and it reminds you to do the exercises too.

Doggymummar · 04/01/2025 10:48

I use them. I had BV once and someone else smelled it when I was wearing jeans. This was about twenty years ago and I have never got over the embarrassment so I prefer the cotton fresh smell. I have a touch of discharge from the Vagirux and it stains black pants a ginger colour so sames buying new ones too

Happydaisydoo · 04/01/2025 13:28

Yeah I get this so does my sister. I’m 41 and she is 38 and we call ourselves pissy Fannie’s because if you don’t laugh you cry.

Wendolino · 04/01/2025 13:42

@Doggymummar
Someone actually told you they could smell it? That's awful, or was it done kindly? Whatever, poor you, bad enough having it without the added embarrassment.
