Panicking about being pregnant - late period

I am not taking any contraception and not trying to get pregnant. DH and I use condoms and I track my cycles using ovulation sticks and an app. I usually have a very regular 27 day cycle. I am 34.

So, I started my period on 4th December. I track my ovulation carefully and I am confident I ovulated on 17th December. DH and I did the deed on 21st and 24th December, but no other times in the month. However my period is late by 3 days. I had some light spotting 3 days ago but it hasn’t come to anything. For various reasons I desperately don’t want to be pregnant but panicking I somehow am. I’ve done several tests and all negative.

any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The spotting could turn into your period eventually - I had the same thing last month but I think it’s a time will tell situation.

If it was implantation then it will take a few more days to test positive.

I predictably got my period about an hour after I posted 😂 thank you for your reassuring words @OurDreamLife 😊
