Continuous bloody discharge

Hey all

sorry if TMI…

i have had continuous bloody vaginal discharge for the last 3 days. It doesn’t smell, and it isn’t my period. It’s just constant, when I wipe and in my underwear. It’s thick, not like period blood.

i am seeing the GP this morning but just wondering if anyone else has had this and if it turned out to be nothing terrible? I’m 34 for reference! Had a clear smear this year.

Sorry for the late response and thank you for asking!

GP looked inside to see my cervix and confirmed lots of clots and bleeding from that area. She was convinced it would be an infection such as thrush or an STI (I have had a new partner since September) but all infection markers have come back clear.

now I’m really worried it’s something more sinister.. bleeding is still going. It’s really bad after sex, generally bright red!
