One flatter nipple

Evening all. Strange one but I am one year post partum and only breastfed my daughter for a few days (5 I think) as my supply was poor and she was dropping too much weight (same happened with my son 4 years prior). I’ve always had fairly flat nipples at room temp but recently (I suppose in the past few months/maybe since giving birth) I’ve noticed that one nipple is still quite flat and the other protrudes more than it used it to. Incidentally, this was the breast that my daughter fed on more as the other was much more painful. I know any breast changes should be checked out but just wondering if anyone else has had this before post baby/breastfeeding, even if just for a short time? Thank you 😀

I've found that my nipples are bigger from feeding, especially my right one which was my baby's favourite, but often sit flatter to my breast because the breast itself is much softer (or deflated, depending on my mood!) than it was before. Could it be to do with that?

@Whatabouthow thanks for your reply! Yes, it definitely could be I guess. I feel like both nipples used to be pretty similar before whereas now there’s a fairly obvious difference (to me anyway) and am not too worried about it but wondered if I should be. Helps to know others have noticed differences since BF too!
