i was wondering how sensitive can you actually be to caffeine?
I can’t even drink one cup of tea it gives me anxiety, makes me feel crazy and jittery and I get palpitations and also it makes my eye twitch for a day after wards.I completely cut it out but felt like a cup of tea with it being cold so tried drinking de cafe tea. At first it was fine but after a few days of having one or two ever day I noticed my eye twitching , I thought I could have just been coincidence so was still having a cup or two a day . After two weeks of having one every day my eye twitch and anxiety/ palpitations were too much so I decided to stop, Hadn’t had one for 2 days and decided to have half a cup just to see if it really was the de cafe tea effecting me or just anxiety in general with it being Christmas ect and 1 hour after half a cup of de cafe tea my palpitations were back and eye twitch starting up again. I really don’t mind cutting it out it’s not a big deal I was just wondering is anyone else this sensitive to caffeine.

Yes, I am! I had to give up shortly after starting to drink coffee a few years ago. I get migraines after only a few days and bladder issues. Shame, because I really did enjoy a morning espresso but the side effects just weren’t worth it. I am so sensitive to caffeine that I have the same problem with black tea!

I agree the side effects aren’t worth it! Honestly I had no idea de cafe could have the same effects till I spoke to a pharmacist who insisted I didn’t need eye drops for dry eyes and should just stop caffeine all together haha
