Hysteroscopy

I went for a private fertility scan 8 weeks ago and was told that I had a 1cm polyp and tiny fibroid. I have been referred by my GP to gynaecology after completing an E-consult. I have been told that it will be harder for me to get pregnant until the polyp is removed. I am assuming that I will need a Hysteroscopy

I haven't seen my GP or had the opportunity to be able to speak to anyone so I have lots of unanswered questions. My referral was completed on the day and a "routine" one and hasn't been looked at by the hospital yet, when I called the hospital last week I was told that they are still working on Septembers referral and would likely get an appointment for around September time. I have just turned 33 and am worried that time is ticking with TTC so debating whether to go private? Speak to my GP and see if there is any way I can be seen earlier? Or just wait it out?

There are also clinics abroad that specialise in this. Serum in Athens seem to do a lot of them. (Not a recommendation as I haven’t used them, maybe just another avenue to explore)
