Going back on the pill

Hello,

Wondering if anyone could provide some help over this period as I'm feeling sorry for myself having another period again this month. Can I go back on the pill? if I'm willing to stop the hrt.

About 6 months ago without any tests showing where my levels were at and based on moods, I went with my doctors surgery suggestion to go on HRT in my early 40's (both progesterone and estrogen) and stop the pill but I'm starting to wonder if this was a mistake.

I started the week thinking I'd gotten cystitis after over indulgence of maybe taking in to much sugar but a period seems to have started when I'd finished a pack of over the counter relief sachets.

At first everything was great on the hrt, no periods for first couple of months but this soon changed to getting two in the space of a month. A private scan for recently showed I was fertile and recommendation made I might like to get the double mm lining looked into. (despite having a hysteroscopy only earlier this year where nothing was deemed wrong so I'm reluctant to do this so soon again and maybe ultrasounds can be wrong or I had it worst time of the month)

Thank-you for any help.
