Hi guys.

so I had my COPPER coil fitted on the 14th of November and started bleeding on the 17th November. This lasted roughly 5 weeks of consistent bleeding sometimes heavy sometimes light.

I was due on my period on the 15th of December (the days after I had stopped bleeding) which never came. This then changed to the 23rd of December again which never came everyday this week it has said predicted to start but never has( this was just predicted period according to the Flo app. However it’s always been correct for me and never predicted wrong) I’ve had a lot of pregnancy symptoms but all tests have been negative. (They are very different to the symptoms I have before I come on so I always know I’m pregnant before I’m due on lol) I will be ringing the doctors on Monday as I’m unsure of whats happening and if this is normal. My cycle length has also almost doubled in length( I’m normally between 27-30 days cycle length) pls help lol

Is it a standard coil or Mirena?, the latter can cause no bleeding whatsoever.

@Growsomeballswoman copper, sorry I should’ve stated that!

Hi OP, I’m in a similar situation so unfortunately cannot offer any insight just solidarity.

I had my copper coil fitted at end of an October. Then my last period started 8th of November. I’m usually 32-34 days cycle and so I’m now on day 50 of this cycle!

Same as you I have pregnancy symptoms but negative tests. I will also call the doctors on Monday.

If anyone has any experience with this it would be reassuring
