Perimenopausal skin..help

Has anyone suddenly got insanely greasy skin eyelids and scalp in peri?
Did anything help?
Tried a variety of shampoos, seen a hairdresser and dermatologist who says it nothing out of order.
Would the combined pill or get help?
I've just started using nightly retinol on my face. Building it up as per instructions. Skin is clogged up.
But I'm sick of my face hair and eyelids being a grease slick, I splash it with water multiple times a day abs it's making me self conscious!

Mine did the opposite and I developed excema on my eyelids, nose and neck and constant dry patches.
