I have this weird thing where, from ovulation day until period, I am a walking methane factory
I've tried everything - probiotics (took them already, though), charcoal, simethicone, silicol. Still a disaster and still feel rubbish and burny.
I am 43. Never been an issue before! Hope this isn't it for life.

Hi, OP. We've moved your thread to Women's Health as we saw you didn't get any replies in AIBU - hope that helps!

Yes. I do have a lot of gastrointestinal problems, beibg investigated but all the tests are normal, so it doesn't seem to be an illness, just something working dofferently in my body. I guess it is hormones...
I suddently cannot drink red wine or eat sunflower seeds as I'll have diarrhoea the day after, random things like I never had an issue with before...frustrating!

Yes, I have occasional urgency and my system is markedly different to when I was young.
