Random bleeding - kyleena
So I had a Jaydess which ran out in November 24 and pretty much to the week it ran out I started getting some random bleeding, I thought it was odd but maybe it’s just the efficacy running out and it needs to be changed. Before that I had like 8 days of very light spotting a month.
So I went to get it changed a week ago and they didn’t have any Jaydess but they gave me a kyleena which is apparently the same. Insertion was fine no different to any other time (I’ve had a few coils over the years). But I’m still bleeding? It’s been about 8 weeks, 7 of which were with my old IUD which was at the end of its lifecycle. I was hoping a new IUD would clear it up? I’m a bit worried it’s infected as I have a sort of line of pain not overly painful but there where my bikini line is.
Has anyone else had this when they’ve been switching from one IUD to another?xx
