Bulky Cervix

I've recently been spotting for 5-6 days after my period. Mostly brown. I've had a TV ultrasound which showed a small fibroid (about 2cm).

After an examination at gynaecology, the doctor said I have a bulky cervix. I've never heard this before and am getting myself into a state thinking the worst. I've recently had a HPV test which was normal and I've never been told my cervix is bulky before.

Has anyone else been told similar?

Bumping for you-I've not heard that term before but I know I uave have a backward leaning cervix. And also a fibroid which is problematic now and again either bleeding.
Hope someone can come asking and put your mind at ease soon.

It’s a physiological state of being, a bit like being fat or thin or having short or long hair. It doesn’t represent anything sinister. You can get off Dr Google! Xx

@abracadabra1980 thanks so much for replying 😊.

@FionaSkates thanks for this 🙏 my TV scan was normal, except for a small intramuralfobroid that the doctor thinks is too small to be causing any issues. So he wants me to be seen at coloscopy and commented that my cervix was bulky which sent me into panic 😢
